The Shopsmith Lathe Cup Center is used to support the non-driving end of spindles or other long work pieces during turning. Designed for use on the Shopsmith MARK or any tailstock with a #2 Morse Taper. Use a mallet to drive the center point and cup into the center of your stock. The workpiece spins against this center when powered by the Drive Center. The Lathe Cup Center is made of steel with a replaceable Center Pin.
